This company has been cited for using crews without proper certification for asbestos removal. They hired untrained subcontractors to do a demolition in my neighborhood recently. The entire operation was unsafe, the worksite completely unsecured, workers bashing in walls of the house with a CAT shovel, wearing no protective gear--not even hardhats or masks. Clouds of dust. Kid who looked about 15 working on site too. According to the CCB, K&C's liability insurance was expired at the time. Completely irresponsible company who will scrimp on labor costs at the expense of workers' safety and the safety of the neighborhoods they work in.

Where do I begin? I have had absolutely nothing but headaches since purchasing a home they re-did. They installed everything wrong on my house. From the gutter drainage spouts going the wrong way, to putting non-waterproof silicone seal around my tub, not hooking up the pluming correctly (no hot water) and leaving half the house with old copper piping mixed with new PVC piping. They put the insulation webbing in BACKWARDS underneath the house. The furnace was in the crawl space with floor vents (logically makes the most sense) and they moved it to the attic without adequate ceiling vents. The house was absolutely freezing all winter. They left half of the loose concrete leftovers from the poured sidewalk and hid it underneath a layer of soil. They stapled a fence together with non-treated wood. Within a month, the entire thing had warped and buckled. The best was they planted plants and kept the tags on clearly staying they were for part sun/shade areas. My yard is south facing all day, full sun. Within a month, all the plants were dead. These people were absolute morons that have left me with nothing but endless projects to fix their messes. I been contacting them for four months, since I moved in regarding not having hot water. They keep saying they will come and fix it to no avail. I agree with the above review. They scrimped on everything instead of doing the job right. My neighbors also informed me that there were underage kids working at the site when they were redoing the house. BEWARE!
