Fix my bathroom and my rood

If I could give this guy a BIG FAT 0 I would. I hired Kendall Hisey (His company is known as K Double H Construction and he also goes by Hill Country Home Services). I hired him in July 2019 to work on my roof and my bathroom. He insisted on being paid up front which should have been a big red flag. I paid him a total of 6078.73 and never heard from him again. The last time that I called him was on 19 august 2019 to ask when he would put me on the schedule to do the work and he told me that he was busy and that he would get back to me later on that day or the next day. I started calling him all of his phone numbers listed on the contract that he did with me on 20 August 2019 and they all conveniently went to voicemail. I drove down to cedar park to his supposed office. It was at a real estate companies office which rents out small offices to small business owners. They told me that they evicted him 30 days ago because he had customers looking for him whose money he had taken and never did the work and he had constables hanging documents on his door. I did a back ground investigation on him and he has a long criminal history. The website that I did the back ground investigation on gave him as a person at 0.89 out of 5.0. It went on to say that he was a really bad guy. Bottom line when you see this guy coming RUN. he will act like he cares about helping you, insist that you pay up front, and then take off with your money without doing the work and you will never hear from him again. I can only hope that when I file a case of fraud with the police department that he gets arrested and thrown in jail. I urge anyone else looking at this review that has lost money to him to go to your local police department and file charges against him. He's a conman.

    Roofing and interior water damage

I have contacted you numerous time regarding the referral fee you promised. Its funny that when I call from my home phone it goes direct to voice mail. I called you the other day from my home phone and it went to voice mail. Then I borrowed a friends cell phone, 5 minutes later and you answered while eating dinner and agreed again that you would pay the 500.00 referral fee and that you would drop off Friday or Saturday. That was 8/18 or 8/19..

You did not show up either day. I call you again yesterday and left you a voice mail to try and resolve this. You shook hands on the contract and the referral fee so that is a binding contract. I passed out all the business cards you gave me at Walmart to generate business for you. Which resulted in my neighbor having her roof done, thus entitling me to the referral fee. And she referred 2 other people to you company.

Repair of my fence was also included in the adjusters estimate. I'm still waiting to be completed. To inform you of how my job was handled see story below.

I had wind and hail damage to my house a few months ago and hired them to replace my roof and repair interior water damage.
Roof repair went fine then everything went south. Kendal, project manager, hired a painter off of craigslist. He showed up at 6pm to start job. I had to go to work at 6:30 next morning.
He worked until 9 pm then asked me for soap????????

He took a bath in my driveway and changed clothes in his car and proceeded to sleep in his car in my driveway.

Painter mismatched the paint totally and I asked him to correct. He never came back or answered my calls. Called Kendal and he said he would send another painter after I waited for a month.

So the new painter came and fixed all the wrong stuff original painter did wrong.

He also promised me a $500.00 referral fee for recommending friends. So I did.....

My next door neighbor got their roof done to the tune of $12,000.00

I have called him no less then 10 times to get my referral fee. You have yet to honor that promise.

I will be seeking the referral fee and reimbursement of court costs to file and have you served so you cost will be much more then the original agreed upon referral fee.

I also want the fee in cash please. I wont accept a check from you

hail damage - still not completed 10 months later
    $13,000
    300 days

Ditto what Edward posted. Too bad there is not a Zero Star rating.

Even though I am certain that there will, at some point, be a response from Kendall at K Double H stating "all work has been done above and beyond...blah blah blah", like in countless other places online, be assures that after ten months, the two weeks of work has still not been completed on my house. As anyone reading this will also easily find, your calls will start not being returned for weeks and even months at a time. You will also continually find that K Double H's sub contractors complain about not getting paid. Hey! These are not my words. This is countless online reviews stating the same thing over and over again. Though not my words, the same thing has happened at my household. Funny thing is that when it's time to be paid either in full or partially, you will have his complete attention. Unfortunately, that will become the end of such communication. Two weeks of work = almost a year of not being completed. Be sure to check out how many copy/paste "all work was done" responses there are out there. Don't make the same mistake I and many others have. Caveat emptor!

Thief and scam artist. Will take your money, but will not do the job and you will never see him again.
