Contractor installed a roof in 2009 that has not passed inspection, in progress or final, because he applied the roof with staples instead of nails. Staples were outlawed in 2007.
An independent inspector prepared a report for the Contractors State License Board stating roof the roof was not installed correctly and needed to be replaced. Went to arbitration, which was tainted. Independent inspector went against the report he prepared for the Board and sided with contractor.
I still do not have a roof that will pass code inspection and contractor has $5,000 of my money.

Ken provided a bid for repairs Replace missing rake tile and repair broken tile. Seal all rubber pipe collars and give a 2 year roof certification as a condition of my VA Loan. He has made 2 appointments to do repairs and has not shown up either time.He no longer takes my phone calls and had not returned calls on any messages left. Since his bid was less then half that of any other roofer I'm left to wonder the legitimacy of his bid.
