No, I do not recommend this builder. IMO, He's a bully to women and uses, cheap builder-grade materials as the 'upgraded' materials and charges PREMIUM prices for 'blah' materials and installation. lol.... As of right now, we are 6 months PAST the quoted finish date in Saline-- Btw--if you want any upgrades to your new construction, just have this guy do the basic rough in, for the basic price. Do the upgrades yourself and pay someone else to do the work. For instance, I wanted to have an upstairs laundry, he quoted me a price and lo and behold--I have ceramic tile in my utility closet upstairs--the default was to ceramic tile for a upstairs utility closet?--who does that? Why wasn't I asked what I wanted? The addendum didn't specify ceramic tile and I signed it. Why do I need ceramic tile in a utility closet? He didn't ask if I wanted ceramic tile in there--he just did it. Premium price. Also- the Condo unit next door to me had water in the basement during construction and when I called him out on the workmanship he immediately jumped to "I'll give you your money back and you can walk away!" He also ruined the living space in my finished basement by putting the sump pump in the actual 'finished' living space when one third of the basement is utiity and storage space. Why not put the sump pump out of the way of eyesight? They also put the toilet drain in the wrong corner of the basement. Yes they can cover it, etc but honestly I feel like he just doesn't care and he doesn't make any qualms about that... Also, he won't guarantee any of his work. AVOID this guy.
