  I learned a hard lesson with this guy last summer. $6700 later and smalls claims court date coming up.

  He talks the talk and then takes your deposit and disappears. I had to chase this idiot down to fire him. The whole time he stares at the ground like he’s about to cry.

  His famous line of speech is to give you his “his word”. He’s not a man. Only men stand by their word. Only men look you in the eye. You do neither. He’s no more than a criminal con masquerading as a home contractor. And he knows this.

  Do yourself and everyone else a favor to spread the word to get this fraud shut down for good. I’d gladly take the loss if it means he loses his livelihood and/or ends up in prison where he belongs.

  New Roof & Skylights

  He appeared very knowledgeable and has good reviews on google. We hired him (May 2022), signed a contract and gave him a deposit. He never did the work. He gave a million excuses, in between silence for days/weeks. He went so far as to have a dumpster delivered, but no work was ever done. Finally had the dumpster company come and get it (and black listed him for no payment). He has not returned our money and has blocked our calls! Do NOT hire him.

  Kevin continues to be a con artist. Trust the posts, had a roof replaced and chimney repaired. Neglected to clean crappy gutters he installed, forgot to reinstalled bathroom vent and best of all his lovely chimney flashing was beyond sub standard. The masonry inside turned into a water feature. Not only are individuals after him so are local businesses and insurance companies.

  Kevin P. Lord DBA Lord Exteriors is a liar, cheat, thief and con man EXTRAORDINAIRE! He showed up 5 hours late, at dinnertime as I was reeling from a serious spine ailment and a 41/2 drive in traffic! His truck had broken down - the tow operator stole his phone and personal belongings and I'll sell you the Brooklyn Bridge for a $100. His contracts were detailed and believable. We agreed on a specific time for the job and I gave him a $1300 deposit. Then he abruptly exited for "PERSONAL REASONS" and of course we never got to sign contracts - He cashed my check immediately, no show for job then disappeared forever. Paul B. Falmouth MA Rating should be 0 . 2. A well know contractors supply co. has a case pending in Falmouth Court against Kevin P. Lord.

  Shingles

  Appears to be professional and courteous but quickly disappeared after giving him a 5k deposit to shingle my house. Removed all the shingles off my house and Then disappeared for months. Called and left multiple messages with no return call so I was Forced to take legal action. If you see his name do not walk run away as fast as possible

  Roof replacement

  $5,000

  Called him many times! At first said he would drop by with extra shingles he promised and to look at a minor problem. Never showed up or called to explain. I found out Contractors license and expired. He never pulled a permit for my roof and I doubt if he carries any liability insurance though he claimed he was fully insured! Check out everything he claims before you give him a dime!

  Kevin came back and added six gable vents and shingled more for us. Great job glad we stayed with Kevin and his crew!!!!! Our chimneys and roof look perfect now thanks again for all the hard work.

  Kevin was incredible fixed needed issues and professional. My review above I wrote when I was upset and I can’t remove it I feel terrible!! His roofing, shingling , masonry work and new barn he built is is wonderful!!! We are in east Falmouth and would highly recommend him.

  I wish I could post pictures. We can be contacted via email and will provide our physical address, photos and “mouthy rude” corospondance from him. Paid him in full prior to job being finished and in CASH- several personal checks made directly to him. My mistake don’t trust anyone even when they seem genuine and sincere. Left roof looking TERRIBLE never screwed down the gutter guard along the entire front roof line and roof is buckling above our front door and getting worse with rain. Visibly defective looking from the street it’s embarrassing. No oversight and inexperienced workers that didn’t have drivers licenses. Different workers every week?? They pulled off downspouts to gutters we have to replace at our own expense due to them throwing away. Left a skylight exterior metal casing falling off our roof and still is!! His answer - “it won’t leak it’s cosmetic.” 17K later...... and he won’t come by to fix anything!! We fed him and his crew for the several weeks they were here, as well and went out of our way to accommodate them all. Unprofessional and mouthy when we sent pictures and asked him to return to screw down gutter guard to roof and fix skylight along with buckling roof shingles. All this less than a week after he finished the job- or well didn’t finish to be correct. Please beware comes off sincere but is anything but. It’s now three weeks after he has left and has given us countless dates and times all no call and no show every time. Our neighbors asked us the other day when the roofers were returning to complete the project started. This has been a very disheartening experience and we now need to hire ANOTHER roofing company to fix his shoty work. Highly unprofessional and absolutely NO MORALS.

  He appears to be very sincere but is anything but. The work came with a 10 year warranty. He has never come to fix leaks but when reached by phone he promises to come quickly but never does. Use him at your own peril. Wellfleet. Ma.
