This contractor is a con man and a thief. This is not just my personal opinion but proven by his conviction in Napa superior cariminal court for grand theft, workman's comp fraud and tax evasion on our home remodel project from 2011. He swindled hundreds of thousands of dollars from us before we learned that we were the last in a long line of other project owners, using money from the current project to fund private civil judgements on the previous projects. Get a lawyer involved asap if you have a a current project underway with him. Don't use him is you are considering him. Sadly, while under current restriction with the CA contractors board this bureaucratic system was unable to permanently revoke his license even after he plead guilty to criminal charges in our case.

I will just say that I would never recommend him to anyone. I had terrible experiences with him. Shoddy work, non-completion of items, disappearing for weeks on end, no accountability, and questionable accounting practices.
