I started working with them in 2011 when my Mom had a leak in her townhome which resulted in 3 levels of wet carpet and ceilings and kitchen appliances that were damaged. I got his name from her insurance agent and Corey Kling came out right away with dryers and pulled out all of the carpeting.
He ended up redoing all that was damaged which included rebuilding a master bath vanity and replacing two areas of ceilings that had gotten moldy, and replacing the kitchen appliances...and lots of paint and new carpeting. My Mom and I were very happy with the results. Total was about $27,000.
So that was #1
#2 Was my rental house in Santa Clarita also had a plumbing flood in 2013. It is a house and bigger with higher end finishes and more had to be done there. The total came to about $47,000 and I was again very happy with the results...so were my tenants.
#3 Was in 2015. My Mom passed away at 88 and left her townhome to me. It was built in 1979 and although it was still fresh from the recent work done a few years before, I decided to tear down a wall to open up the space between the kitchen and dining room and create an island.
I also wanted to update all of the bathrooms and redo all lights, flooring etc. Since I sell real estate, I knew that if I can do a good job on this, I could sell it for much more.
So I called Corey to ask him if he does remodels....he said yes! I asked him for the name of an architect to help me with the demo of the wall and replacement with a beam. That started in February 2015 and ended in July. Everything was new everywhere you could look. And, I'm happy to say, that although priced at the very top of the market, buyers still fought over it and it sold very well.
So...#4. 4311 Lemp Ave is my home. I had wanted for a few years to remodel my kitchen. It had a beam separating the kitchen work area from the breakfast area and I wanted to remove the beam and have a one room big kitchen with a 10 foot island that would seat six easily.
So I started with the same architect to see if the beam could be hidden in the ceiling...YES! When the plans were approved, then I brought Corey in for an estimate and included a few more things like all new hardwood floors downstairs, whole interior painted, etc.
Today as I'm writing, the kitchen cabinets are going in and they were made by the same custom maker that made the ones for my Mom's home. All should be done by mid-February.
On all 4 of these jobs there were: No big issues. No accidents. No complaints from any neighbors. No excuses.
And when something looked wrong or different that what I expected, I talked with Corey to either explained it to me, or he came out to see what I was talking about, or said he was sorry--somebody didn't do the work correctly (which only happened once).

My home in Oak Park, CA was part of the devastation caused by Woolsey Fires in 2018. Deemed unlivable with almost everything gone I was relocated for 1 year and 9 months. The confusion and emotions are still real to this day. I was so fortunate that Kling Family Construction came into my life at this time. They were with me throughout the entire process and ordeal, handling everything. The workers were incredible and the results were amazing! They listened, suggested, and gently brought me back to reality at times. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to this wonderful company. If you are looking for the best, call Kling family construction. I promise you will be extremely pleased.
