On May 8th I contacted mr. Weinberg. On May 10th he responded. We setup a time to review the job. I needed a tub with plumbing installed and surround tiled by June 30th. I had family coming in for five days and needed that bathroom done. He viewed the job onsite on May 18th. He sent the estimate on May 24th after I reminded him we were waiting for it. We entered into a verbal agreement that he would perform the work on that same day. I didn't hear from him so I called around June 11th. He said he was finishing a job that got extended but he would start my job June 19th. I was to send him detailed information on the tub surround tile and design. I delivered that information along with a bill of materials for the tile shop where I had verified that everything was in stock. I offered to go pick up the order since it is 45 minutes away after he double checked my calculations. I picked up the tub and had the plumbing fixtures onsite. June 19th came and went without an appearance from Mr. Weinberg. No phone call. Nothing. I called. No response. I emailed. No response. I now have 8 people decending on my house for 5 days in less than 2 weeks with no shower in that bathroom and no recourse. I was assured by Mr. Weinberg he could and would finish the job but he never started or communicated any problem to me. Maybe he is laying in a hospital somewhere or there was a terrible tragedy in his family. Or maybe Mr. Weinberg is just unprofessional and too cowardly to communicate with me. I'll never know.
