We deeply regret hiring this builder. Initially we were pleased with their price and service when we chose them. The custom home looked great and service was good, but two years later, the real problems arise. Now we are planning to sue them since we had a construction defect 1.5 years after the house was completed and they did not accept responsibility. One of our roof tiles had fallen after a storm, and an independent contractor had determined that the tiles were improperly installed. Also, the construction process took longer than expected and was not smooth. Due to turnover we switched project managers twice and our kitchen was not built to specs. In addition, the interior designer they provided did not stay within our budget. Had we not had the roof issue, I would have overlooked the other problems. Overall, I would not recommend Lake Hills as they are not reliable or trustworthy.
