My home was built by LAL Contracting in 2016 and I moved in late December 2016. Within the first year, the wood floors developed large gaps on the main floor and the walls in the master bedroom developed very large cracks. In addition, the ceiling separated from the walls down the center of the home. At the end of 2017, when he was supposed to fix these issues, he refused to answer my texts. I contacted my realtor and he had workers "fix" some of those issues. Within 3 months the problems returned and were worse. In addition, in 2017, the dining room window began to leak above the window. I have had window people, siding people, roofers, plumbers look at it and all cannot figure out what the leak is from. A person who does balcony work redid the upper balcony because the balcony did not have the correct flashing between the house and the balcony and he believed it was causing the leak. The leak was not entirely fixed with the correction because it still leaks, just not as much. LAL used cheap materials including cheap flooring and did not follow the engineer's blueprints when it came to the construction of the home. When I spoke to an attorney, LAL offered me $3000 to fix everything. I have already spent over $3000 and nothing has been fixed. He is a terrible contractor and person.
