After I contracted with Larry Construction he started a portion of the work on 6/6/25. His work, and that of his employee was good, and we paid him for this portion of the work.
It was agreed with Larry and his business partner Steve Lampi that the remaining work, which was the majority of the contract (including 2 large window installations), would be started on 7/21/25 after we came back from a long vacation.
After returning from vacation on Thursday 7/17/25, Steve Lampi wrote a text to us that same day stating “ Welcome back. We’re queued up to start on Monday.”
One day later (7/18), Steve Lampi wrote another text to me stating that they (Larry Vo and Steve Lampi) had decided to step away from the project and would not complete the contract. They stopped all communication and have not responded to any of our inquiries.
Our issue is that we have a $1000 permit with Larry Vo construction listed as the contractor and we had windows delivered on 7/23, but have no contractor to install them, or complete the project, which included new siding around the windows and painting the entire house.
