NO. We booked them in October of 2020 to start our pool project in April of 2021 to be completed in May 2021. I contacted them in March and we were told that the reason it was taking longer and needed to be pushed to another 30-45 days out was due to permits. It was not until April 2021 that we found out that their contract license was cancelled in December of 2020, and did not renew. I have started a claim process through their bond with the assistance from State Contractor's Board, the claim is through, Golden State Claims Adjusters, another bad reputation company. Just search it. Also, according to the State Contractor's Board, I should have not paid over $1,000 for a deposit, but I did. Last I want to also include the lack of communication from their employees, as sometimes takes over a month for responses. At this point, I have contacted an attrorney and he recommended to place a complaint with State Contractor's Board, BBB and other means to make sure people are aware. Last, I might need to go to smalls claims just to get my money back. What a headache they have put us through. I will update this review when I have an update and hope for the best.
We sent ot certified mail requesting refund, started a complaint with the State Contractor's Board and also started the bonding claim about 2 weeks ago and the bonding company finally ask us for more information, however, they also have bad reviews (goldenstateadjusters.com) just look them up. The foreman left us a VM that he was getting laid-off and he was picking up his tools. The receptioninst moved to Redding. I also found another person with the same issue in Arbuckle, CA about lies that the county permits were taking long. Last, I am trying to see if any news cast is willing to go with the story. I will update as more updates come.
NOTE: If you have a google account you can see that there is another person with same issue as me.
