After paying in full for a repair, the system still wasn't working as expected. Despite multiple attempts to contact Lee, he only responded when I informed him that I planned to place a stop payment on the check.
Lee said he needed to consult with the technician and would call back with next steps. Four days passed with no follow-up. When Lee finally called, it was to express anger that the check had not cleared. Only then did he schedule a technician to address the issue.
The technician arrived the next day. I explained my concerns, and he assured me he could resolve them. However, after some time, I discovered that the technician had left without notice. Shortly after, Lee called to inform me that they had removed the equipment entirely and wished me "good luck" in getting it repaired elsewhere.
I have never encountered such unprofessional and petty behavior. Basic customer service could have easily avoided this situation. I stopped payment because my concerns were ignored, and communication only resumed after the check didn't clear. I suspect Lee tried to deposit the check before the stop payment took effect, assuming it would go through.
