    Build a Garage
    $50,000

I hired Limo in spring 2021 to build my garage. We signed a contract and I gave him a deposit to start the work and also to buy the material. He knocked down the old garage and never showed up to do any work after that. He used my money elsewhere and never bought materials. He told me he filed for permits but I called City Hall and they told me he never did. 99% of everything he told me over the last year was a lie, I have pages of documented emails and text messages where he keeps promising and telling me things that turn out not to be true. After a while I asked for my money back and he paid back some but still owes me more than $10k and keeps promising and never pays. Google him and see other reviews and complaints about his business. I would stay away from him but if you absolutely need to hire him DO NOT give him any money upfront, wait until work is done and you are happy. If you need to buy materials buy it yourself. I hired dozens of contractors since then and nobody asked for money upfront. This is a fraud, people like this should not be in business, I am filing formal complaints and pursuing legal avenues to get my money back.

Interior paint ( walls, ceilings, baseboards), kitchen cabinets, bathroom.
    $9,500

We hired Limo's Home Improvement company to complete the following in 2 weeks time frame starting 10/4/20: 1. Paint the interior of my house including walls, ceilings, doors& door frames, baseboards, kitchen cabinets, and bathrooms (special paint job for shower tile& shower floors), refinishing wood floor sanding& staining, 5 toilets install, garbage disposal install, carpet install. 2. Interior walls were painted unevenly, one coat, and the previous Yellow paint shows through. Doors were painted with the wrong paint, poorly & over dirt, bumps, and paint drops. 3. 1 room was not painted, the carpet was not installed. 4. Kitchen cabinets were painted with no prep/ sanding with the wrong pain, white spots, brush marks &bumps, 1 cabinet broken, kitchen cabinets cannot be repainted - need new doors. Toilets were not sealed with silicon around them. 6. Bathroom shower tile walls are peeling off, no prep work was done for this job. I asked if he knew the prep work steps that need to be done and he said yes don't worry. When I asked the painter who did the job did he do the required prep work for the shower tile, he said no! He said that the boss - David said just paint it, don't do any prep work! the shower tile is all peeled off before he was done. 7. Missing caulking - I asked many times but he ignored. 8. Wood floors were permanently damaged, horrible job - stains, smooshes, spots, and over sanding. I had to bring a professional wood floor company that said he has no clue doing hardwood floors, wrong machines that he doesn't know how to use which caused massive damage to the baseboards, freshly painted walls, and floors. The floors were redone by a professional this time, big difference and cost an extra $3,200 and set our family another week behind. 9. The most frustrating fact was he dragged us for 8 weeks, not showing to work with lame excuses, showed up to work 1-2 a week while our family had to find an alternative living situation which we explained many times, he promised to help us get it done on time when he was disrespectfully doing the opposite dragging the job. He had no respect for our family situation needing to move into our house asap, we have children in schools, Zoom calls. We had to drive every day 45 minutes from ** to ****** ** and find out he didn't show up to work without letting me know in advance always had the lamest excuses. 10. We gave him over 10 chances to get it done, which he promised again and never showed up. The last chance we gave him was 11/30/20 at 9 am and he never showed up again and at this point disappeared. 11. We are very frustrated and disappointed with the poor quality of the job and dragging us from 2 weeks to 8 weeks out of our house paying on time.
We paid David $9,500 for this scam.
