After completion of re-roofing my home, and inspection by a county inspector, I discovered a small section of screening over my rain gutter had become displaced onto the roof resulting in roofing material being installed over the displaced screening. I attempted to remove the section of screening by pulling on it, but it seemed securely held under the roofing material. My concerns about this problem included a fear that pulling on the section of screening hard enough to dislodge it could damage the roofing, and the fact that the exposed end of the screening was directly over the downspout. The location of the exposed end of the screening causes difficulty in plugging the downspout to enable me to fill the rain gutter with water as a measure of fire protection during red flag fire danger events to protect my home. I communicated this problem to Longevity roofing by email nearly a month ago following up with several reminder emails plus a phone message. To date I have received no response from Longevity Roofing. As such I would find it difficult to recommend their service.
