I hired Terry Miller at LUXOR Pool to resurface my pool in December 2020. LUXOR gave me the highest bid but their reviews were good and I wanted the best quality and didn't mind paying a bit more to get it.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed at the very beginning of the job as LUXOR drained our pool but left the new pump running dry for at least 3 days while we were out of town. Not a great start but humans make mistakes so maybe things will get better.
LUXOR gave us middle of the road quality at the highest bid. Their attention to detail was not up to par. There were a handful of issues -- one example being the wall fittings aren't installed flush with the surface and are sticking out from the side of the pool. It's disappointing to say the least.
Terry Miller promised that they'd fix all these issues but it's been 8 months and numerous calls have gone unreturned so I'm guessing he wasn't exactly telling the truth. Or, giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they're just really slow with customer service.
LUXOR Pool might do a good job cleaning your filters and traps but I wouldn't trust them with much more than that.
