  Please take my word, Stay away from this roof company! Never got my final inspection with the county, I had to hire a new company to redo the job. Had to pay new company to complete job. Sad how they can get away from doing the right thing… ?

  Install New Roof

  Stay Away. They do not honor their warranty! I had a leak from the roof they installed and never fixed my ceiling! He does not respond to calls and always lies when he says hes coming. He'll be quick to pick up a check. Probably one of the biggest dirt bags I've ever dealt with. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

La razones por las que digo esto es porque se le dio un cheque de $16.000 dólares y dice que no los cobró teniendo prueba del banco que si fue cobrado por el.   I would never recommend this company not even to my worst enemy they are incompetent Liars terrible workmanship my roofs been incomplete for over a year-and-a-half now he installed tile over the Overexposed paper lies about ordering the tile lies about getting the proper documentation from the city to complete my job

  Roof Replacement

  MG Excellent Services truly lives up to their name. After almost hiring a different roofing company, I decided to reopen the bidding process. Boy am I glad that I did! In total, I had eight roofing companies bid on my gable roof & flat roof replacement.

  Full disclaimer: I prefer to spend money in the community that I live in (Hialeah), so my preference was to go with a Hialeah-based company if all things were equal. MG Excellent Services is based in Hialeah, and their owner Michel Garcia does indeed live in Hialeah. However, this fact did not guarantee him the job.

  Mr. Garcia personally came out to my property to work up the quote. I could immediately deduce that he is a seasoned professional from the way he described the process, the quote he generated, and from being in business over 10 years (fully licensed, license in good standing, no major complaints against his company, yada yada). Narrowing the contractors down to two finalists, MG's quote was almost $3,000 less than the other finalist. Even the other finalist told me that MG Excellent Services is a solid company and does good work, and he straight out told me that I should choose MG! To earn that kind of respect from a competitor tells me that Mr. Garcia has garnered a reputation of excellence.

  Throughout the job, Mr. Garcia communicated via phone and text, letting me know where we were at in the process and what would happen next. His workmen were courteous, did fantastic work, and always cleaned up the job site carefully. This is important to me, since I have a dog and a two-year-old daughter who could accidentally step on a nail. When I was here for the in-progress inspection and the final inspection on the tiles, I talked with both inspectors, asking them to give me their brutally honest opinions on MG's work. They both pointed out what they look for, educated me on how a job is done correctly, and reaffirmed that MG did the job right. What a relief!

  As in most contracting jobs, there were some delays. This was to be expected, since Hurricane Irma damaged many roofs in our community, and all roofing contractors are busier than ever now. However, I didn't find the delays too unreasonable, as Mr. Garcia and I kept in communication throughout. I'd rather have a job done slowly and correctly than rushed and incorrectly. MG definitely did the job correctly, and I'm very happy.

  Bottom line: MG Excellent Services is honest, thorough, respected by their peers, respected by the inspectors, has fair prices, and is clean. I highly recommend Mr. Garcia and MG Excellent Services.

  Roof repair

  Horrible! Impossible to get a hold of, full voicemail on one line, never in the office/wouldn't return messages on the other line. I had to call multiple times a week for 2 weeks before finally getting a response. At which time I was informed that the warranty for my roof repair would not be honored because of hurricane Irma, even though my roof started leaking 8 months after Irma hit, and therefore was obviously not a result of it. To top it all off, he was incredibly rude and hung up on me! Not only does this company not perform reliable work, but their customer service is awful.
