  Replace roof and other storm damage

  I sustained damage during hurricane Ida in October of 2021. M&Z came out and put a new roof on the house and that was just fine. Water came in through the bedroom ceiling and damage a very small amount of sheet rock. Immediately Zach wanted to replace the whole bed room ceiling even though it was not needed. Insurance denied this. I got back in contact with them and instead added other punch list items to make it worth their time to come out and get some work done and they requested to have Zach come out to view the fixes needed so he could assess. Now it has been over two weeks since they have picked up the phone. Now at this point it is too late to get my recovery from the insurance company because I do not have a signed contract for the additional fixes. Essentially they waited me out until it is no longer viable to get the work done because the scope of work was not big enough for them. If they would have told me this back in November (when the roof was complete and we started looking at the additional fixes) I would have happily found someone else since they were so unreliable.

  It all boils down to, if they had been able to scam the insurance company for a whole new bedroom ceiling, I would not be in the situation.

  bedroom remodel

  They did an amazing job. We had a hallway extended, back wall added to the house, wiring/lights/speakers added. Done to perfection. Workers were courteous and professional and we barely noticed they were here. Can't recommend M&Z enough.

  Zack and Margaux were wonderful from walking me through the initial design process and choices through keeping me up to date on all of the progress along the way. I love the updates to my closet and bathroom- I highly recommend M&Z Renovations!

  M&Z renovations has a high commitment to quality. I know the owners and they have a great sense of design and attention to detail, and are personally some of my favorite people in the world. I’ve seen projects they’ve worked on and the results are beautiful.
