Complete bathroom remodel by Marc Gazal (M.A. Home Improvements) 724-498-6343. Contract signed 1-23-16 with a price of $7836.00 (not including the mirror, sink, commode or lighting). On 4-4-16 Marc, Mike and Jason started the job with a complete removal of the walls, tub, ceiling, and floor. On 4-5-16 I was approached by Marc that the tile for the floor was going to cost extra and he was not going to argue with me about it (Marc was given the chosen tile on 2-6-16). 4-6 thru 4-10 a new subfloor was put down, new tub in, new ceiling and walls up. That included 48 hours without a commode but things were looking good. On day 7, 4-11-16 Mike asked Marc to stop talking about him behind his back. Marc responded by telling him that if he didn't like it he could quit, so Mike left the job. Things started getting bad after that. When Marc was told that the switch under the mirror was not supposed to be there he became verbally aggressive and he was not going to argue with me over that either. At that point, Marc became unapproachable with concerns.Marc laid the tile, and as you can see in the photos it was done very poorly. The grout lines are inconsistent and some tiles are higher that others causing the floor not the be level. As you can see the vanity is not centered or level. The commode does not sit flat on the floor and is still not level. Tile cut at the floor vent with a 1/2 inch gap. The unfinished wall outside the door. Exhaust vent dangling in the attic. On 4-19-16 Marc was
contacted that there was a concern with the floor installation. He said the job was signed off on and demanded the rest of his money which he received. Final cost $8596.00.
