Be carful with his word of mouth contract, don’t do what I did, Make sure you have a written contract, he did my roof on a new constructed house, did a material count, a labor amount and he at the end of the job, he wanted $7000.00 and was arguing that he paid for the material until I showed him the paid invoice to let him know that I did so I gave him $4000.00 and told him to count his loses like I did so by then I have lost $3000 so far, so he wanted another $3000.00 I said nothing so he decided to put a false lean (cause there was no written contract) and did the lean for $11000.00 more, I text him and told him that his lien was invalid and he text me back and ask again for $3000.00.
His way of counting the material needed for the. Job was out way short as he said
BE CAREFULL, have everything in writing.
Btw, his job was good, he has a good crew but will try to take advantage of you
