    We have used Josh on two occasions for electrical repairs. He first diagnosed and repaired a electrical short in the wiring of a bathroom light fixture. On the second job He replaced a aging ground fault breaker at the breaker panel and upgraded the outlets on the circuit to meet current code. Both times his work was prompt, fair and done correctly without problems. We would hire Josh Mahoney for any future electrical work.

    Install a Nest camera and doorbell system
    $2,500

    Hired Josh Mahoney to install a new Nest Camera and doorbell system. The Nest doorbell stopped working the next day and so did our doorbell. We called Josh and he came out a few days later. We had paid him in full- almost $2500. He dismantled the doorbell and couldn’t get it to work. He said the transformer was shot and he didn’t want to deal with the wires in the attic. He said he would get a wireless doorbell. We tried to reach him all week and he ghosted us. Josh once told me that if he can’t fix a job or doesn’t want to deal with it, I.e. the job is too stressful, he will ghost a client. Update: a professional electrician with communication experience came out this week and fixed everything and we have a beautiful wired doorbell- there were no wire issues. We do not recommend Josh.
