I want to preface this review with - I could not be happier after closing on my home last week! The overall process was first class and very personalized if you are looking to design from scratch and personalize your specs. Every detail came together beautifully and I still cannot believe the value with included upgrades you get from:

    -Solid wood doors
    -Completed finished basement
    -Wrought iron railing at entry
    -Vaulted ceilings
    -Amazing sound proofing insulation
    -Oversized lot size
    -Credit towards fixtures/selections
-Variety in selection options (trust me any more is too many choices)

I am unreasonably anal (I even get on my own nerves) and Jordan and Craig were the sweetest understanding the attention to detail was keen for me to be happy. They were patient with me on my walk through (I can have a little ADD and jump around all over) but with approachability and patience they stuck with me.

As expected when building semi custom we did hit some minor bumps along the way. The good thing is where I lack in my unreasonability I make up for in understanding-I think both sides worked well in coming together overall. What I loved was that anytime there was an issue Jordan called me with a solution they could offer in place - this made things move along and made me feel like my satisfaction was indeed important to them-stellar customer service!

From the start of this process more than a year ago Majestic's family ran and operated team has been very pleasant and accommodating. I think what they understand well is that building a home is a stressful and emotional process, after all, much of ones savings/investment is in a home-they get this and do their best to accommodate where reasonable.

In the end I am so incredibly happy with my home. My only recommendations if you decide to take advantage of the beautiful ranch homes Majestic builds at value, are as follows:

1.) Work closely in the last 8 weeks on the timeline; the last minute come together was a little to close for my comfort (I guess something about the bank timelines forces them to have everything pulled together in 5-6 weeks-I didnt like that). I would have liked at least 4 days to complete walk through and see everything 100% complete before signing off-our unique situation did not allow enough time for me to process everything so I just needed an extra few days to feel a little more at ease.

2.) Make sure when they install the cabinets you ask for them to pad them once installed so that other vendors/contractors dont damage when they are doing their work (again, that is probably me being overly anal) but I still think this added precaution protects both sides-the buyer at walk through and the builder from having to spend more time and money if they have to fix.

In the end if I was given the option to do all over again, stress and all I would because our home is BEAUTIFUL and I love that we were also able to support a local business in the process! Thanks Toni, John, Jordan, Craig and Blake for sticking with us through this process and our timeline!

The whole process of building a home with majestic is full of false promises. Our home that was supposed to take 8 months to build took them 15 months! The hardest part dealing with them is that they do not communicate. Even during the build process we would have to leave constant messages just to get a phone call back. We added money to our contract for concrete work, not only did it not get put in, but when it was time for closing they said we had to bring more money in! Besides the concrete there were multiple items they were going to add to our home. We finally got ahold of them to do a walk through before it got too far along to point out some of the items and they told us “do you have that in writing?” They play everything off like it’s not a big deal and when you try to discuss with them they disregard anything that was talked about. We are still in our warranty period and have some issues. After multiple texts and messages they haven’t returned one of them. This has been exactly what we had to deal with during the build. I believe their thought process is that if they ignore it it will go away. If you like getting the run around, lied to, and have zero communication then this is your company. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!!

We have a beautiful home in 4 way ranch but getting it to the quality level and warranty are maybe a half star. The building process was very challenging because the contractors had almost no supervision which leads to shoddy work. We had to visit very frequently to ensure subs were not cutting corners. We caught many things before they became problems. We kinda felt like our own GCs

Closing was another surprise of additional expenses. Most were wrong and got reimbursed but was a ton of work combing through the details. We had hours of work in tracking warranty issues. Why? It was the only way to get them to reply and only after many calls, texts and emails. Still to this day two years later we have an open issue on the water heater that was reported two weeks after closing. Silent treatment again.

I liked Majestic at first but now fairly disappointed. I know buying a home is exciting but take it from me. Check with other purchasers first and be very very diligent with them. Read every detail and everything in writing. Personally we would have someone else build our next home

Half star on experience and only two on this rating because we like our home.

This company is HORRIBLE at communication, they don't trust anyone that works for them so you have to work directly with them and can't ask questions to anyone else! It's horrible! They take 10 months to over a year to build a house, don't let them tell you 8 months cause they are lying and full of empty promises!
