We hired Donald Shaw (Colorado Outdoor Living And Landscaping LLC) to do some bathroom remodel items. Job was agreed upon with (THABK GOD) no money given but a signed contract. He was supposed to start today (9/20/21) at 7am. He finally made contact with me at 830 am saying he was to blame for no call no show. He said he would be at my home in 20 min. Well at 11am I sent him text messages, voicemail, email and message through messenger firing him for the job he failed to even start.
I won’t recommend him to anyone, thank god we didn’t give him any money. -

BEWARE: DONALD R. SHAW (Colorado Roots, LLC and Shaw Landscaping, LLC). This individual took a large sum of money from us as a down-payment to build a patio in our backyard. Two separate contracts were drawn up for the job and SHAW failed to ever start the job and has failed to reimburse our deposit (as was stipulated in the contract). He provided numerous questionable excuses and half-baked apologies related to his personal problems that impacted his business. We filed a small-claims suit and he failed to appear for the court-ordered mediation. Beyond the initial deposit expense, we have incurred additional (and ongoing) filing fees with the courts. Too late, we have discovered numerous on-line complaints against SHAW including with the Better Business Bureau (which gives him an ‘F’ grade). We will continue with our legal actions with the hopes of recouping our losses to DONALD R. SHAW.

We hired Donald shaw and it was a complete nightmare! He took a 50% deposit of 7800 and was suppose to start work the following week, he never showed up and had excuse after excuse. He then asked for more money bc he didn’t “ quote us correctly “ we have an additional $1000 in hope he would start our backyard. He came one day for about ab hour and left trash as well as alcohol bottles in our yard. We fired him and he said he would return our deposit, we have still not seen anything. Do not hire him!!!!
