Buyer beware!! I purchased my home in 2023 from the start I had nothing but problems. The master shower floor cracked and They wanted to just re grout it I said no when they tore it out under the pan was trash nails and lots of debris.Also I noticed that the air vent pipe was not connected just cut off at the floor. Next my breakers kept tripping they sent the original electrician he said all was good I did not buy that. Mr Southard sent someone else. He looked at it and said there were to many plugs wired to the same breaker, could have burnt my home down. Next The doors in the house started to stick and eventually the rear exterior doors were stuck shut. I called and the door guy showed up a month latter the remove exterior doors reset them and 2 weeks later they stuck again. I told Mr Southard he wanted to send out the same person I said no and paid to have them repaired correctly problem solved. Next the Air conditioner out ac guy comes out wires were not even connected with wire nuts so they fell off. Next the wall started to crack the patched it no drywall tape and guess what cracked again, now fixed correctly by my own person.There are many cracks in the concrete which keep getting bigger and yes I told the they sent the concrete guy out he took a picture said he would be back in 2 weeks to recheck never showed up. Buyer beware of this builder.There is much more not mentioned. I don't have enough space. Every time I called them It took weeks to repair, I think just to get past warranty. Again if you buy from Malibu homes do your own inspection because their superintendent and 3rd party inspectors did nothing.

We purchased a property from Malibu Homes in September of 2023. Since then we have had several concerns regarding the quality of the build. We have had several issues that include water pooling next to the house, cracks in foundation, cracked bathroom tiles, mortar cracking and much more. we've tried having these issues resolved since we moved in in September of 2023 and A year and a half later Malibu still refuses to answer or return our calls . I would advise anyone looking for a new home to steer clear of Malibu Homes. The Slogan 'Where quality and customer service truly matter" could not be more misleading.
