  Terrible customer service! Unresponsive. They do not have the integrity to honor the contract we agreed upon and are ignoring my attempts to communicate. Would give 0 stars if I could.

  Last year we had Marbella install our landscaping, including several shrubs/bushes. The work last year was decent, and one of the things we made sure to do was pay an additional fee to have our plants warrantied for 1 year. (This was included in the contract we signed.)
  Well, this year we had a few plants that did not make it and were under warranty to be replaced at no-charge to us.
  I also requested that they check the water lines to ensure all plants were getting watered appropriately. When attempting to schedule Marbella to come out, they were ridiculously unresponsive... I called and emailed for weeks before getting a response. And the same lack of communication continued in all my dealings with them, EXCEPT when they said we owed them money--then they were incredibly responsive.

  When I was finally able to get someone out, I specifically requested that they check in with me when they arrived and when they left, and also made sure to tell them I did not want ANY work completed without my prior approval.
  They did not check in or out with me and ended up performing work on our sprinklers that I did not authorize. They did all of this, but did not replace the plants because “that crew member didn’t perform that kind of service” and they would need a different crew to replace the plants.
  The next day, I received an invoice for the sprinkler work that was performed without my authorization.
  When I inquired as to when our plants would be replaced, I received an email from a Manager basically stating that they would replace our plants when we paid the invoice for the sprinkler work. It felt as though they were essentially blackmailing us in order to honor the contract that we signed and paid for, which had NOTHING to do with the sprinkler work performed.

  After the fact, we had our regular landscaping maintenance company check the work that Marbella did on the sprinkler system, and discovered that they essentially did nothing and charged us for unnecessary labor and parts.
  I originally requested that our warrantied plants be replaced in May… and here we are in September, and the plants have still NOT been replaced. They are no longer taking my calls or answering my emails.
