I've worked with a lot of contractors through the years and most of them are decent hard working people. Unfortunately Mario B Roman is the opposite of that, he's the worst contractor I've ever dealt with. In short, he is a crook. He stacks his contract and payment schedule to be front heavy so he can get 80% of the payment early while he completes less than half the work, before disappearing and abandoning the project. His workers do a shoddy job, with crooked rough framing, and worse dry wall mudding. You will end up having to hire another contractor to fix his mistakes and finish the job. Stay far away from him. He has had multiple licenses under various construction companies through the years but they have all gone bankrupt or had their license revoked once they've lost their surety bond. If you see him as RMO on a bid, you need to reject his proposal, no matter how much lower he is compared to others. He will simply steal as much money from you as he can before disappearing to do the same to someone else.
