BEWARE! I made a noon appointment with this firm and had them out this week to bid on a small bath remodel. While I was making the appointment, I was warned that I had better NOT be purchasing a shower door from the big box stores because they ALL leak! He had a referral that he preferred to work with. For context, I had arranged for my grandsom to move furniture for me at 10am the day of his noon appointment. The guy was running early and called to see if he could come early, also at 10:00am. Even though I was expecting my grandson, I accommodated his request. It was a rather arduous walk through as he repeatedly objected to my comments even going so far as to telling me he wouldn't build the shower to the ceiling because it would make the HVAC vent look funny. I didn't agree with his opinion, but I wasn't going to argue with him. Wrapping it up, he promised to get a bid back to me in the next few days. Instead, I just received the following totally unprovoked text from him: "I decided I wasn't interested in working with someone that wasn't will to work with a professional with 40 years of experience. The comment, "let's move it along" (sealed the deal for me), Not to mention you felt you knew more than I do. Your mistake!!! You ph# has been blocked and I don't want to hear from you!!!!" Well, thanks for the text!, it was honestly quite revealing It's unfortunate that you can't work with a client who knows what they want. As you are aware, I made that comment in the context of reminding you that my grandson was do and I needed to wrap it up. Puling it out of context and using it as an "excuse" to "let me have it" rather than simply no-bid the job, was not only unnecessary but completely juvenile. FAIR WARNING, if you hire this guy, be prepared to be beat to death with his own self-importance!
