Stamped concrete patio, firepit and seating wall
    $13,000

Ugh where should I start? Signed contract in June of 2020, paid my deposit based on misrepresentation made by Richard an agent of the company. He said 8-10 weeks to complete the job, he never supplied the drawings despite numerous requests. As a result when they finally showed up to start the job in late October he assured me they would move the existing propane line to accommodate his new layout (different than the numerous discussions) the day before they poured the concrete I pointed out that the empty line was not moved to the proper place to allow the propane line to serve the fire pit (discussed from the beginning with Richard) he told me they do these all the time. After several weeks of begging them to come dig the trench so I could have the propane line reran to the correct place. They never came out, I ended up digging it myself and paying the propane company out of pocket to fix their mistake.
After having my backyard left mid job for all winter looking like absolute trash I had to beg and was told numerous times the job would be completed but they never showed up, it was one excuse after the other. Finally after 10 month someone came out to wash and seal the concrete, however the seating wall and firepit looked like they did in November, last week (April 2021) I was notified that they didn’t have the needed stones to finish the wall. This has been the worst experience with any contractor I have ever had, the lack of customer service or even pretending to want to do things right has been downright disturbing. I have done some digging and see this is a common complaint, I also see a lot of interesting reviews that I relied on when making my decision to use them. My high school senior’s graduation party won’t be able to happen due to this project not being wrapped up, it’s too bad he got cheated out of a regular senior year now he won’t be able to have his graduation party because our contractor didn’t hold up to the verbal agreements they made when selling the job.
I talked to someone who used to work in the office and they said this happens all the time, I guess the owner works when he feels like it. I have lost all hope that this project will get finished.
