    My experience with Massey Home Builders was a nightmare. Things went along okay until the walk through and then it went in the “toilet”. I was asked for $2500.00 for extra driveway, which was not discussed in advance of the work. During the walk through, I was told I was nitpicking when I asked for some items to be improved. It continued down hill after the closing when the principal owner tried to engage me in a fist fight. The owners refused to take warranty calls direct and made me process everything thru my realtor for about a year. I found their concrete work to be poor, as was the H/W floor installation. And my experience apparently was not an isolated case. I later heard similar stories from other homeowners in my neighborhood. In my life, I’ve never encountered anyone like the owners of MHB. I would never recommend them to anyone.

    Build a custom home
    $350,000

    Terrible people, basically thieves that rip you off at ever turn. Charged us 1600 to change from flat to eggshell paint and I call sherwin Williams to find out its only a dollar a gallon to upgrade. Then short changed us on drive and sod and now a week in to our new home we have discovered a cracked floor tile and several walls not square as well as bad trim cuts and a hole that appears to have been taped over and painted. Then we were threatened by the senator Chris that he would keep our upgrade money if we didn’t close. He wants to be a representative of the people of Mississippi yet cannot even properly represent his paying customers!
