    Roof
    $7,000

I had my entire roof replaced by mercurio roofing in 2015 and have had no issues since. Mike and his crew were fantastic and paid attention to every detail. I don't understand the super detailed negative review from someone who is way to involved in their roofing and thinks they know everything. Maybe that person should have put their own roof on their house since they know so much about it. Again, love the job and the quality that mercurio did at our home. Thank you mike!

    Terrible Contractor

I would not recommend Mercurio for roofing or gutters. I hired Mercurio Roofing to put a new roof on my house and garage, to replace gutters on the house and hang gutters on the garage. The roofers were to tear off all old shingles. I asked about the TV antenna. Mike assured me his roofers knew how to deal with it. They put new shingles around it, they did not remove the antenna and replace the shingle under it, as it should have been. Roof to wall flashing on the dormer was never installed as listed on the proposal. The gutter crew folded over the starter course of shingles, nailed them to the fascia, then installed the gutter apron on top of the starter course instead of under it, on two sides of the house. They thought the roofers had made a mistake. When they realize they were doing it wrong they did the remaining 2 sides without folding down the starter course but did not go back an undo what they had already done incorrectly. There were 1st course shingles torn and they shoved gutter apron at the end of each shingle between the starter course and the 1st course shingles. In addition to that there was a very visible curve to the gutter on the long side of my house, it was higher in the center. On the front of my house the gutter was hung at an angle that had 3 inches of fascia showing below the gutter on one end and no fascia showing at all on the other end. Between the curved gutter and the extreme angle the gutters looked ridiculous. One downspout was suppose to put the water down a drain tile but the lowest piece was horizontal and the water ran out the joint onto the ground instead of going into the drain tile. The whole gutter job was a disaster. The crew boss was confused, instead of getting clarifications he just did the the job wrong. We told Mercurio the gutters were unacceptable and to remove them. Gutters were not put on the garage. Mercurio refused to repair the damage done to the roof shingles by the gutter crew. We were promised a quality job and what we got was a nightmare. I would warn customers to find a competent contractor, not Mercurio, and save themselves the grief I have gone through.

    Terrible Contractor

I would not recommend this contractor.
I hired Mercurio to replace the roof and gutters on my one story house. The roofers were to remove ALL old shingles. I asked Mercurio about the TV antenna on my roof. He assured me his roofers knew how to handle it. They did not remove the antenna and replace the shingle under it they just shingled around it. The gutter crew damage the new roof on 2 sides by folding over the starter course of shingles, nailed them to the fascia, and installed the gutter apron on top of the starter course instead of under it. When they got to the 3rd side they realized their mistake, finished 2 sides correctly, but did not fix the 2 sides done wrong. Many 1st course shingles were torn in the process. In addition to damaging the roof he hung the gutters curved on one side, higher in the center, and on another side they were on such an angle that 3 inches of fascia showed below the gutter on one end and no fascia showed below the gutter on the opposite end. One downspout was directed over our septic tank and the other one leaked. Mike said but they're functional. I said they look terrible and are unacceptable. New gutters are suppose to be functional and look good. The gutter crew boss was confused, instead of getting clarification he just did the job wrong. We were promised a first rate job and what we got was a disaster. Mercurio's answer to the problem was to take the gutters down and walk away. He refused to fix the damage done to the roof. Contrary to his adds, customer satisfaction is NOT important to Mercurio. I had many proposals to choose from and I am so sorry I went with Mercurio. Save yourself grief and don't make the same mistake.
