our experience with this contractor was horrible. We ended up firing him 1/2 way thru our remodel. The work was subpar and not able to pass building inspection with city. He also wrote bad checks to his suppliers if he paid them at all. He has filed bankruptcy and been sued in CO several times and just opens a new business name. After firing him we ended up having to pay (or rather repay) the electrician, concrete guy, and engineers because he lied and falsified docs showing us they had. been paid. He also took a large deposit and then didnt show up for months. Every single sub we met that has ever worked for him complained about not getting paid and therefore no good subs want to work with him. AVOID THIS CONTRACTOR AT ALL COSTS

The contractor, Walter Michael Hull, and owner of MH Construction (aka OFMC, Inc) and his workers did a horrific job on my home. I was living on the east coast at the time and I trusted that he was actually doing the work that he said he was. Permits weren't pulled correctly and my house was red tagged which caused a several month delay. My master bathroom tile work was just a joke, broken tiles that were grouted together, over cuts, uneven setting. They didn't lay down anything to cover my hardwood floors and the worker's boots scratched up the tile and hardwood flooring due to rocks stuck in their treads. He ordered the wrong color windows from a different vendor than what I had requested and then attempted to paint them which are now peeling. I am having to replace all of the windows again in my house. The large deck was the worst of all. The wire railing wasn't to code so they added a second row of wires (without telling me) that were drilled through at different angles. The deck posts are leaning in different directions. The posts are not the same height causing dipping on the surface. My entire railing has to be replaced. He wasn't paying the subcontractors and asked for payment on work that wasn't done although he said it was. And the list goes on and on. I fired him and then he sued me for "unjust enrichment". I counter sued his insurance company for the damage done to my house. The insurance adjuster that came to the house said it was one of the worst cases he had ever seen. After a year long legal battle, we finally settled the day before the trail was to start. I got a large settlement from his insurance company which mostly went to attorney fees. I am now having to redo the horrible work that was done. Through this legal mess I found out that he has declared bankruptcy several times with former construction companies that he owned. He just starts new under a different name. Avoid this unethical contractor at all costs!
