  remodeling

  Mike Nichols is a terrible person to deal with. He quoted me a remodeling project for $36700, asked to pay him half in front, which I did. I paid his $18900 in September of 2020, and today is June 3rd of 2021, he still didn't do much, other than testing down a few little parts. Every time I call him, he always finds all kind of excuses. Anyways, I decided to sue him for my $18900 deposit and other damages. If any of you want to join me to sue him, welcome. I will sue him for big damage and have the collection companies to collect the money with the court judgement. This kind of person deserve to be punished. We can't let him to continuously hurt other people !!!

  pretty well the same as Joe. Hired Mike Nichols 01/30/18 to put in a walk-in shower. Wrote out a check for 824.20 for the walk-in shower itself. We thought that he knew what he was doing with the VA. He was referred by AA plumbing located in Ohio and they were referred by VA. (Deleted by VA from the list.) Found out Mike Nicholds didn't know anything about the VA. He purchased the wrong walk-in shower and the VA informed us that it was the wrong one. He says he has the shower and he will not return our money. Learned our lesson.

  Replace well pump and hydrant. Replace bladder tank

  $1,650

  Met mike Nichols while shopping at local hardware store. Had low water pressure. He was able to come by the same day to access my problem. Should have been a sign!! Testing done, he said well pump needed replaced. I had already purchased bladder tank so asked it be installed too. Next day Mike and crew of 2 teenagers came to install pump. Turned water on and had great pressure for a few hours. Mike came back next day, dropped off his crew of 2 teenagers to replace bladder tank and new well hydrant. I asked where mike was and they said he'd be right back. They completed job then mike returned to turn on water. None. He then asked if I had a softener. Yes. He came inside banged on softener bypass with pipe wrench stopped after it started spraying out water and asked if I own or rent it. I own it. He then disconnected it. It still doesn't work after ordering over $100 of parts and MANY frustrating hours (I'm no plumber) it still leaks. All showerheads, toilets, faucets and sprayer were clogged with debris. He then asked if I could take off everything and clean out debris. No I said working a lot and paid you to complete job. He returned to bang on ptraps and tried to flush pipes. Well hydrant was bubbling water out of ground too. He said let me go see what them boys done. They dug up hydrant again because they didn't add a layer of gravel which was needed in first place. Mike didn't supervise the young boys. He won't return calls. Said he didn't break anything. Well, after 6 weeks of hard water the new bathroom tile for walk in shower (contractor installed less than year ago) is stained orange. Our hair has an orange glow. I replaced ALL mechanical parts to toilets and they still leak. Hand held kitchen sprayer leaks can't use. Water lines seem to have air in them. Took off showerheads myself cleaned replaced. STILL working on softener this weekend. So frustrating for my wife to have me busy every weekend repairing problems I hired Mike to repair. I paid him cash of $1650.00 which never resolved my problems. NEVER give contractors cash up front as they might not complete job once they get paid. And if you hire a LICENSED plumber don't let teenagers do the job!!!
