We hired Mark in early 2019 to remodel my master bath. He is all talk. In the end he over charged us by 10's of thousands of dollars "saying we did change orders" never signed anything and I never was told anything was a change order. Everything he put in our bathroom is the cheapest crap out there. The only high end stuff installed is what I bought and paid for myself. We have had issues since the job was finished and even throughout. I made him do a water test. Had to fight him to do it and it leaked. Thank God I fought him on it. His grout in my shower has been falling out since the first month. But he still hasn't shown up to fix his shit work. All the plugs he put in are not flush with the wall.. He told me my bathroom would take 6 weeks it's took 6 months. He doesn't stick to his word. And is so dishonest. I hired him so I wouldn't have to baby sit subs, but I had to babysit him and his subs. I have talked to a few lawyers and know I could sue him to get some of money back. And I should have just not paid him the finishing bill because I knew he was screwing me over with fake change orders. Save yourself a huge hassle and disappointment and go with someone else. I really wanted to love Mark and have him do other work in my home, but I can't love a lair and someone who is willing to rip someone off the way he did me. I found out after the fact by having his line items reviewed that he mainly does work for insurance companies. Or at least that's the way he bills. It's so he can get away with bills that do not make sense to anyone. He can't even explain it to you.
