We hired this company on a recommendation from our realtor, so we trusted them with the repair of leaky windows and drywall damage. We then further hired them to get our house ready for sale and added renovation of the kitchen cabinets, demolition of the countertops, painting of the kitchen walls, master bedroom accent wall, replacement of laundry doors, painting of wall in front bedroom, replacement of a shower head, caulking exterior windows, re-leveling of patio pavers and a few other projects. At first the work went well. Pat Devivo told me that I can trust him in my home and to give him a key, which I did not feel comfortable with. He had his nephew start a lot of the work, Patrick Pederson. His work ethic was terrible. I later found out, through online check of county court records, that he was a felon, convicted of taking money for construction work ($10,000) and never doing the work. It was required that we give a 50% deposit, which we did. They then would ask for check after check, almost daily. Since I trusted the recommendation, and the work was coming along, I complied. The project grew to over $10,000 almost overnight. I ended up paying this company in full LONG before the work was completed. And the work, which was to take a week and a half, took OVER A MONTH to complete. I ended up writing a total of 12 DIFFERENT CHECKS to this company, and each time they would ask for money around lunchtime, then RUN TO MY BANK and immediately cash whatever check I had given them. The project kept growing and growing, and their work kept slowing down. I reviewed their work and found their work to be AWFUL. I was charged over $3000 to repair, sand and repaint the cabinets, which, they never sanded and only painted, and then was nickeled and dimed for everything they did in the kitchen. At one point, when Patrick Pederson was removing the countertops, he got angry that I would'nt pay ADDITIONAL DUMPING FEES, and left a huge pile of debris in my garage and in the backyard and stormed out of the house, never to return. He left a gaping 4-inch by 3-foot hole under my exterior pass-through window open to the elements, which I had to tape up in order to keep my home sealed up. At one point they threw our kitchen cabinet door out with the old laundry doors by mistake, and Pat Devivo said he would replace the door, which I agreed was fine. He then said that he won't be buying a new door for the kitchen, and that he would like to use parts from the trashed laundry doors to "rig" the kitchen door. When he brought the door back, it looked awful. I mentioned it to him, and he never said he would be fixing it, that it probably needs painting, but never offered to do the painting. Actually, we were scheduled to have Pat Devivo come back this last Saturday to touch up some spackle on an outlet, and he never called and never showed up. When I told him to replace the laundry room doors, it took over 3 WEEKS to get them installed. I highly WARN ANYONE who is thinking of using this company or any of these individuals against hiring them. They are absolute crooks. And once you give them your money, you will HATE their work and unprofessionalism. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
