    $35,000

    Worst experience with a contractor I have ever had. Angry at myself for being so dumb as to hire this guy. Lots of delays, problems passing inspections due to framing, deceit and lack of communication, trash left.... goes on and on. Ended with me having to engage an attorney.

    This guy should be run out of town on a rail.Carriage house started out at $50sq.foot and ended up at $64aq. foot. Said he had an architect...a lie. I was stupid enough to sign 2nd contract, because the 1st proposed “garage with living quarters was too big for City of Lakewood ‘a code for my project (if had the architect he said he had, this would have been avoide).. 2nd contract for smaller carriage house he pushed through as a garage only and I stupidly signed it (blindly trusting the SOB THAT IT WAS YET BEING SUBMITTED AS A CARRIAGE house) only to find out too late that it was only a garage ...$05,000 later I’m tearing out concrete , adding insulation, reporting concrete, radon monitoring station. He’s only interested in the number of contracts he gets in a season. He listed my project as a$68,000 contract...if he builds 100 contracted structures in a season , multiply that by the overage and tell me the IRS SHOULDN’t pay this guy a visit. He throws one into you without even giving a reach around. Please don’t be as trusting as I was. A good “garage “, but at the price and the additional costs it should be good.

    build detached garage with driveway
    $27,000

    I do not recommend this company. The owner Greg Moss does not communicate any status. I signed the contract on May 30. He said the garage would be completed and driveway poured in 4 weeks. 6 weeks max. The driveway was finally poured on October 25. It took him 21 weeks to build a simple garage with no work done on the inside. I would text him asking when they would be showing up and he always responded with maybe next week. The garage permit failed during the permit application process because of lack or engineering papers and also failed the framing inspection. Thankful for the Thornton City inspectors to catch the questionable work by this company. The garage was complete but needed to be shingled. Rain was forecast for the next day so I called Greg to see when they were going to shingle. He said he didn't know. The shingles were not even ordered yet. I asked if he could put the tar paper down to protect the decking. Greg told me that rain does not hurt the wood. I bought tarps to protect the decking. Very hard to work with, do not use Preferred Garages.
