We hired Pat to do several jobs around our house. The roof around the chimney needs repaired less than four years after Pat's company removed all the boards, shingles, etc and replaced around the chimney. So this is all their work not a previous roofer. There was no flashing put around the base of the chimney as the inspector and other roofers stated it should have. Pat sealed our back deck, didn't look at the weather for the day and it rained forty-five minutes after. So instead of removing the sealer or anything to mitigate the issue, he told us it would be fine that it was a quick sealer. I showed him after a Google search this wasn't correct as it needed far more than forty-five minutes to dry and seal. Since that point our deck has slowly started to rot from the moisture trapped inside. We currently can't use the deck due to rot causing boards to crack, warp and disintegrate in place. Pat hired a guy to do our tile. The tile is wavy, cut wrong and chipped in numerous places. I'd estimate 80% of the job looks decent but the rest in a lot of spots is atrocious. According to Pat, he couldn't have his tile guy fix all those issues as it would cost him too much. And this is just the issues we couldn't get resolved and doesn't take into consideration the time and detail I had to spend to go over everything they touched. Pat talks a huge game about his many years of experience and how great of a contractor he is. I should call Holmes on Homes to show Pat what a *REAL, RELIABLE, ENGAGED, TRUSTWORTHY and KNOWLEDGEABLE* contractor looks like to show him how it's done. I wouldn't recommend his company to anyone for anything at this point. Buyer Beware!
