A family member of mine hired them to do some remodeling and they wouldn't show up when they said they would time after time and the work still isn't finished

I hired Roger Krause of Narrows Northwest, Nigel Sebren is listed as coowner of this company on the washington state L&I site. Roger gave me quote of $6000 for labor and $4000 for materials to finish a trex deck that another contractor was unable to complete. He gave me a written bid. He asked for $3000 for labor up front and $4000 for materials. Within a few days of starting work he asked for an additional $3000+ for materials. He worked on the deck for approx a week and stopped showing up, refused to answer calls or text messages. He left a huge mess, a broken glass railing and equipment on my job site. He had promised to complete the job by the fourth of July but he quit coming to the job site before the end of June. I contacted Probuild in Gig Harbor and was able to obtain receipts for my jobs materials for approx $2000 which was constant with the materials that were at my house. I would not only caution people about Narrows Northwest and Roger Krause but also his business partner Nigel Sebren who is listed on this site with a very good rating. I plan to file against his bond and pursue all the 'business' partners listed for compensation
