We hired Nick to paint the outside of our house. There were some
delays due to water restrictions and weather. He only needed 1 day to power wash and 3 days to paint. After 2 days they were calling for rain. He said he was going to start an inside job and will be back after the rain. Well it only rained 1 day and he never showed up for 2 weeks. I called him expressed my anger about having 1/2 a house painted for 2 weeks. After words were exchanged, he said he
would be there on sat to finish. He never showed, but sent a worker of his to finish the job. He still had touch up to do and I did not think the job was finished. He asked me to pay his guy and I said no. He said I should give his guy at least 200.00 for the day. I told him our contract was for 50% down and
50% when the job was complete. I already gave him 75% of the payment so he should pay his guy for the days work. Nick did come back a couple of days later finished the job and he was paid in full. I still had to do some touch ups myself.
