  Additional, kitchen and bathrooms renovation

  Nick put a 800 sq foot addition on my house,
  Followed by renovation of my kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and 40 foot back porch.
  All jobs were excellent, professional, budget friendly and timely.
  Nick is always on time.

  We unfortunately hired Nick Jannicelli for a complete kitchen renovation, and to install lighting and flooring throughout our living room, dining room and kitchen areas. First he quoted to install our kitchen without even supplying a drawing or layout which is unheard of! He would not supply a detail breakdown of prices on work to be done.. Said "he don't work that way" After a few hours each day he would disappear, and would leave his two inexperienced workers here (one of which was his young son) to do his work for him. So, all the work that was done -was substandard. We ended up having to have it all redone by another " professional" contractor at a huge additional expense.
  A three week job is what we were told has now turned into more than 3 MONTHS, and we are still without a functioning kitchen. We received the wrong cabinetry and measurements were all wrong too. Sink base measured wrong so we cannot get sink installed or counter top till resolved. We were left with split crown molding, exposed electrical wires everywhere, no under cabinet lighting or switches that we paid for, half painted kitchen, top wall cabinets were hung incorrectly and crooked. He installed floating bamboo flooring without prep and floor was buckling, and had to be reinstalled properly by someone who actually knew what they were doing! He insisted that he could put base cabinets on top of a floating floor even after we told him this would void warranty and not the right way to install... it would lock in the floating floor causing more buckles and ripples. Our new floor would need to be replaced again within a few months if we let him do this.
  But, what would he care once its done.. he's gone and he got his money.
  We paid this man 3/4 of the job, and on top of that he more than doubled his profit from us selling us inferior cabinets. We were left with a nightmare and are still living it. If this is the only review you read...Don't let this happen to you...DO NOT HIRE Nick Janicelli for ANY of your home repairs!!!
