This unethical company, were hired by a friend of mine, who happens to be a single disabled woman, They were hired to install her seven windows. She paid them $4500, and while they were on the job, for some reason were audited by L & I, and they retaliated against my friend by keeping all of her money, and only installing six of the seven windows, and she has had to use duck tape around the outside, because they still haven't done the molding on the outside either.
My friend said nothing to L & I to get this company audited, because she just wanted her windows installed, and finished before winter.
I am angry, because her health issues are significant, and she honorably paid them up front, and they dishonorably did not do the work. They called her, and told her they had her final window, and it has been three months since she has heard anything. She went the winter without this job being completed.
This company is not registered with the Home Builders Association, because you are required to have ethics, and held to a decent standard. They clearly chose not to belong to this organization, because they are completely lacking in any ethical practices.
I would hope anyone looking for a decent contractor would go to the Home Builder's Association for referrals, and always get a contract with the GC for every minute detail of the job you need done. Unethical contractors are rampant, and they prey on single/disabled, and the vulnerable for gain. Please, don't hire this company.
The L & I audit is nothing compared to what I am prepared to do to this company.
Every agency I can find will and is being notified. Take the money and run just doesn't fly. I will desist if the job is properly completed immediately. Otherwise, consider me unleashed.
