We were originally excited about having Overton do our pool installation, however it became apparent early on that we had made a mistake. First, our installation was sub contracted to a couple of guys that had no business installing the pool. From having to watch videos to learn how to put our pool up to the leaks in the pump system we were highly disappointed. We had the subcontractors out several times for repairs as well as after being quoted a total of $2800-$3000 for full installation and having the final total being over $4000. There was such a lack of communication between us and the contractors we felt frustrated often. The final straw was after only 4 weeks of the “completion “ of the pool and deck work, a main pipe between the pump and filter had completely failed. After meeting with an actual pool company and their determination was that the pipe failed because the pvc pipe was over tightened and cracked during the installation. It only lasted as long as it did because of excessive amount of pipe dope that was used. I contacted Overton to have someone come out and repair the damage, but I never got a response. I decided to do the repair myself. We are so disappointed.
