I have owned the house since 2002 and have lived here fulltime since 2011,we have been using Paloma since 2004. They have always been excellent we had the motor on our old HVAC replaced in 2013 they didn't try to talk us into a new unit even though the unit was 12 years old. We replaced the unit in 2015 since we were going solar and had Paloma install it the technician we were familiar with is Carlos and he gave us a price quote which was very good. The unit that we decided on in order to get the I.I.D rebate could not be installed as it was a few inches to big for our attic so what Paloma did was install the unit that would fit and they reduced the price by the amount that we would have gotten back from the rebate from I.I.D.
We took out an extended warranty with Paloma which has worked out well for us as the condenser coil failed when we turned the unit on this spring, the warranty was 800 dollars for 10 yrs. I would definitely recommend Paloma to anyone.
