I do not recommend Patriot Homes Co Ltd. for the following reasons.
I purchased a new build from them and as part of our contract agreement, we were to be registered in the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty program. When I inquired about the enrollment Nico from Patriot Homes sent me a text stating that our house would be enrolled on September 19th. We have a significant leak in our basement and when I reached out to the New Home Warranty Program, I was informed that our home was never enrolled in the program and that Patriot Homes does not have any homes registered with them. I recently received a notice that we are now enrolled only in the structural warranty program which is not what was promised in our closing documents
To date, the items that were to be addressed per the closing agreement such as sod replacement, kitchen cabinet defects, and a missing shelf have not been addressed. We have a window in the primary bedroom bath that is defective. The leak in the basement continues along with other plumbing issues. The filter in our furnace is constantly soaking wet. We had water run down the vent pipe to the water heater in the basement. I continue to get promises that the plumber will contact us to check the issues and have not received a call from the plumber despite many phone calls, emails, and texts to Josh who is the VP and Paul the owner of Patriot Homes.
We have been notified of more than one lien from subcontractors that were never paid and heard that other vendors did not receive payment.
I strongly suggest caution when dealing with this builder.
