Our heat pump quit early Tuesday morning 12/21/20. I phoned American Home Shield warranty company to request service. Paul Urban himself called shortly afterward to schedule service. He was very friendly on the phone. David arrived at 8:10 am the following morning after a 3 hour drive from Murrell's Inlet. He determined the fan motor had failed and initially we thought it would be the next day (Christmas Eve) or next week for a replacement to be obtained. David returned a short while later with a new fan motor which Mr. Urban had approved to be obtained locally. David worked unceasingly to repair the motor and double checked all other possibilities. Lucky for us, he found the thermostat was also defective and replaced that during the visit. David completed the repairs and was on his way by 11:30 am. David was very friendly and we felt complete confidence in his work. He was very good at explaining what had occurred and the repairs he had made. We were informed all costs were covered by the AHS warranty; $600 for the fan motor plus the thermostat. The warranty had already paid for itself and we had only been in the house 3 weeks. I would definitely use Paul Urban's services again and have no hesitation recommending his company to others.
