RUN!! These people WILL NOT stand behind their work. My parents spent over $50,000.00 on a job and had nothing but problems after. Leaks all over the place. When we called him back out he promised to come and NEVER showed up. He will feed you promises and NEVER hold through on them. He brags about his work but does not stand behind the crap that comes out of his mouth. "we bent over backwards" was his favorite comment but he did NOTHING outside of the estimated work. He will stop answering your phone calls and if it gets to the point that he has his "secretary" take your calls, your screwed. AWFUL!!! A good business will always stand behind their work. Not them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Run, don't walk.

*** STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY ***
Where to begin with this toxic self proclaimed "Best in ALL of Florida" trash bin of a company. Well for starters the talk is big but the craftsmanship is downright in the toilet. Dirty, unhinged and unprofessional. This circus of a company couldn't put a Lego set together properly. The owner Pete should have his license stripped because of his lack of knowledge to install aluminum structures properly, his integrity and unprofessional mannerisms he displays on the job site is absolutely toxic. Pete doesn't want you to observe his shoddy craftsmanship while the process is ongoing. If you try to have a civilized conversation with Pete to ask him questions, he throws a gaslit temper tantrum, gathers up all of his tools and screams at you. "I am the BEST in all of Florida." to try to intimidate you but really it makes him look like a man-child with anger issues.
Issues with the Pool Enclosure (These are just the important mentions)
- Shotty brackets to hold gables upward were screwed in at angles, not straight.
- Inadequate support posts
- Bent gable beams
- Atrocious gable peak covers cut from beam material. WTH?
- Bent wall structure posts
- Not centered brackets on support posts
- Didn't follow code guidelines
- Didn't pull a permit
- Corners of picture window don't match up & were filled with silicone to mask Pete's inadequate skills at measuring properly.
- Leaves silicone spots on roof of porch, very messy
- Leaves ripples in 60% or more of the screens
- Hurricane tie downs are loose and not properly placed
- The whole structure moves with very minimal effort with 3 fingers from a 13 year old on a center post of a wall
- Says he can do minor roof repairs and slaps tar on sheet metal as the fix (which has to be redone properly by a real professional)
Keep in mind the pool cage contract was submitted May 8th, 2025. Job was started 2nd wk of July 2025 and finished July 31st, 2025. In which the bent beams were assembled this way at his shop with them knowingly installing it on a brand new structure. Silicone can only get so far, but the mistakes show through their exacerbated claims of being the best.
Pete's lies, deception, unprofessional mannerisms, his approach at calming viable + important concerns of the homeowner is absolutely despicable and should never be tolerated by anyone paying good money for a project, which hired a licensed contractor, that didn't pull permits, to ever have to endure. They didn't clean up after themselves each day because dozens of shards of aluminum and tap con screws were in the pool to rust if they weren't picked up by myself and my family EVERYDAY.
I think Pete Hawley Aluminum should change its company name to Wrecks Aluminum since he botches projects up so badly. The legacy that was given to you has been destroyed by your workmanship and your inability to communicate when concerns arise due to your inadequate business practices. I am sure there are many unfortunate people that you have scammed, been disloyal too and have caused thievery against based on your business tactics. I would HIGHLY not recommend this scab to even step foot on your property or business.
The proof is in the photos and there is no denying what kind of trash your workmanship is. It's not slander since all that has been mentioned is fact. Embrace your failures, since that is what you and your company have become.
I am sure Pete will come up with false claims after this review is posted, like on other platforms (FB) to try to make himself look good and to shame the client, because that is what he does. He himself can't recall his own lies and deception because narcissistic personalities can't remember what lie they told last to remember what is true or what is not.
Would you trust a narcissistic, lying, poor craftsmanship, leave your home dirty and a company run by an unhinged owner to do a project for you? I would think not.
