The design was great, the plans they laid out looked perfect, then they started the work and it was as we became an after thought. For our bathroom remodel, they said it would take no longer than 10 weeks, four months later and a lot of e-mails (and un-returned phone class) the finally finished that. There were many mistakes in the process and that kept causing them to come back and fix their mistakes. After the first month into the Bathroom remodel we decided to remodel our kitchen. Was told it would be an easy process. Anything but. Constant delays, constantly being told parts needed were on back order and even told after we signed the contract that they couldn't remodel certain parts of our kitchen because of an oversight on their part. They originally said the kitchen would take 6 - 8 weeks, almost 5 months later and again numerous un-returned calls they finally finished. I had to have them fix numerous mistakes. The workers were rude at times and when we told that to Phillips, they said that was just the way they were.
The front office has one receptionist that is incredibly rude and never gets your answers questioned. For the last two months I had been asking for a final itemized bill showing all I was supposed to get (and couldn't) and what additional they were charging me for. I never got that even after talking with the owner. I did get a bill at the conclusion of the project but it is apparent they just made up numbers and added them to the project. We did ask for painting and was told it would be inexpensive to add. They never gave us an estimate like we asked, and instead just showed up with a painter and he started. We paid 700 for a 300 job.
I can not push people away from Phillips hard enough. There office and customer service is the worst and we will 100% NEVER recommend them to anyone. With them, it is buyer beware...
