We sued Phil Pierce. He built out house, and let his insurance lapse during the course of construction. There was a leak in the main water line during construction that caused major foundation damage. When we called Phil out less than a year after we bought the house, we never heard from him again. Of course, he declared bankruptcy, and he never paid a penny.
