Never hire this contractor or buy anything from him, he is cheap and will ghost you. I didn’t know this contractor and he was the only option because he owned the land and started the main frame of the house. He continually pushed back the closing of the house because it just wasn’t finished. It's understandable that they may overestimate the time till completion but it was pushed back by a year and a half. During construction he claims he can’t get a bigger toilet then ones for dwarves because it wouldn’t fit between the floor joist which we called his bs on. Even then he still wouldn’t get the toilet and his agent had to pay for it. Before closing we noticed the grout between tiles is almost non existent, the corners of the tiles where showing and you can cut yourself on it if you werent carefull. We didn't mind so after the closing we just filled it in ourselves. As time went on we started to notice the poor build quality of our home. The cracked drywall, paint splatter under the finish of the hardwood floor, massive buckling of said hardwood floor, and bad paint job. Then came the loose shingles, falling siding, and bad seal around the windows which lead to wet walls. He ghosted us on the shingles and siding but the final straw is the wet walls. Surprise, he still ignored our calls. In short, never hire this man, poor build quality, cheap materials, fight tooth and nail for just the basic amenities, and ignore all of our calls.
