Our experience with PLS has been disappointing and frustrating. I hired this company to remodel our master bathroom. All supplies were already at my home ready to be installed. We agreed on a price of $8,461.00. Demo was completed prior to PLS starting the project. Two men came to start the framing of the shower and bath closet. I was shocked that all cuts of the studs were on the driveway. They did not use a table saw. When the drywall was installed. The holes for the electrical outlets had huge gaps around them, and several small pieces of dry wall were placed on the ceiling and walls. The walls and ceiling are not straight and it looks sloppy. The tile in the shower has grout residue all over it. The marble tile in the shower has cracked. The contractor will only fix it if we sign a paper that states we are responsible for any damages should they occur. The shower pan was purchased at tileredi ,and any work after installation would void the warranty. His tile setter had already hammered out the tiles around the drain, because he had epoxied the drain in with the tile. The baseboards and door trim are damaged due to excessive use of the nail gun. The members who came to our house had little skill and did not arrive with adequate tools to complete the job correctly. We are left with a shower that needs to be fixed and a lot of patch work to make this bathroom look good. The contractor, Jerry, said it was an average job. That is very generous! This job started Jan 19th and it was finished April 7th. It was supposed to take two weeks. He had other projects going on at the same time and our job was a minor one, according to Jerry. They used liquid nails to attach the marble to the vanity and attach the sinks. This was also a mistake in installation. Poor service and skill by this company.
