In late July, PMI of Batavia, Illinois (ComEd sub contractor) foreman Marcus S., without prior written notice, arrived at my commercial building that was vacant, for lease, and with electric power service previously switched off, located on IL Route 83 in central Lake County, IL in order to cut down the 4-wire 220 volt 3-phase electric power service lines to the building. No 10-day advance written notice was provided by PMI (or ComEd), as required under Illinois law. The PMI foreman phoned the local police to remove a vehicle obstructing the private commercial driveway for access to the rear utility pole, also in violation of Illinois law. Title 83 IAC Part 280.130 clearly requires Illinois public utilities to provide customers 10-day advance written notice prior to service disconnection in order to provide customers an opportunity to prevent service disconnection and rectify utility issues. Utility customers beware!

August 2020 These guys are my heroes! Power outage due to fallen tree. It took down wires and half the pole. They worked through a massive thunderstorm and restored power to 71 people in Pennsylvania! There aren’t enough words to express my gratitude.
